Terms and acceptable useLast updated 2026

swx.sh lets anyone share a file or some text as a short link that expires, and chat privately end to end. There are no accounts. This page covers the rules and how to report abuse.

What is and is not allowed

Use swx.sh for lawful, consensual sharing and conversation. You may not use it to store, send, or link to:

Accounts do not exist, so enforcement is per share and per connection: reported content is removed, its fingerprint can be blocked from re-upload, and abusive networks can be rate-limited or cut off.

Reporting abuse or a copyright issue

Every share page has a report link at the bottom that flags it for review. For copyright (DMCA) notices, illegal content, or anything urgent, email abuse@swx.sh with the link and a short description. Confirmed abuse is removed and, where required, reported to the relevant authorities.

A valid copyright notice should identify the work, the swx.sh link, your contact details, and a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized.

How your data is handled

No warranty

swx.sh is provided as is, with no guarantee of availability or delivery. Because everything is short-lived by design, do not rely on it for anything you cannot afford to lose. You are responsible for what you share and for having the right to share it.
